It was a real honour to be invited once again to the Crewe Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club on Saturday 24th May at The Four Eagles, joined by Cheshire East’s new Armed Forces Champion, Councillor Anthony Harrison.
We’re incredibly lucky to have such a strong, tight-knit Armed Forces and veterans community here in Crewe and Nantwich. Every Saturday morning, the club provides a space for those currently serving – and those who have served – to come together, share stories, offer mutual support and enjoy each other’s company.
This weekend marked six fantastic years of this wonderful initiative, and it was brilliant to see both familiar faces and new ones in attendance. Conversations centred on how we can keep building on existing efforts to support our local forces community – from small acts of kindness to larger collaborative projects. The strength and solidarity on display was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you goes to Ian Warrender RE and his dedicated team, whose tireless work behind the scenes ensures the club continues to thrive. Your commitment doesn’t go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated by all who attend.
If you’re currently serving or have served in the Armed Forces, you’ll find a warm welcome every Saturday from 10am at The Four Eagles pub (opposite Morrisons) in Crewe. Come along, pull up a chair and join a brilliant community that’s six years strong and growing.
Here’s to many more years of camaraderie and support!
