I’m pleased to share that I’ve arranged for the NHS Living Well Bus to visit Underwood West Academy, Newcastle Street, Crewe, CW1 3LF, on Thursday 26th June, from 12.30pm to 4.00pm.
This visit is part of an ongoing effort to make health and wellbeing services more accessible to residents, right in the heart of our communities. The session is completely free, open to all, and no appointment is needed – simply drop in at a time that suits you.
The Living Well Bus will be offering a range of health checks, including:
⭐ Blood pressure
⭐ Pulse
⭐ Cholesterol
⭐ Blood glucose
⭐ BMI (Body Mass Index)
⭐ Direct referrals to talking therapies for anyone struggling with their mental health
These quick and confidential checks can help spot early warning signs of underlying health issues, and give you the chance to speak to health professionals in a relaxed and friendly environment.
If you’ve been meaning to check in on your health – or just want some peace of mind – this is a brilliant opportunity to do so without needing to book a GP appointment.
Please help spread the word by sharing with friends, family, and neighbours who may benefit.
Many thanks to Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for bringing this service to Crewe and making it so accessible for local residents.
