SP Energy Networks – capacity improvement works near Leighton Hospital Crewe

Update from SP Energy Networks

SP Energy Networks is installing a new underground cable connection to support the development of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s new health and care neighbourhood in Crewe.

Our work in the area is progressing well, and we are pleased to confirm that our work on Bob Brown Way is now complete.

Soon our work will be moving on to Flowers Lane, progressing northwards towards the A530.

The work is scheduled to take place from Monday 8 September to Friday 31 October and will involve a two-stage road closure.

We are carrying out this work in stages to minimise disruption. Access to the hospital via the Flowers Lane carpark will be maintained throughout.
