Report an issue online

There are many issues you can report yourself directly to the council, or to other providers online or via apps on your phone.  This page provides information to help you report issues and get support.


🔧 FixMyStreet, Cheshire East Council
You can report issues directly to Cheshire East Council such as potholes, flytipping, littering, dog fouling, street lighting and many more to the Council using FixMyStreet which is an online system.

Report issues to Cheshire East Council by phone
📞 To report highways issues,  roads, potholes, flooding etc call 0300 123 5020
📞 To report fly-tipping, littering or missed bin collection issues call 0300 123 5011
📞 To report an issue with an alley gate, call 0300 123 5011 (option 3).  For a new or replacement key, please contact 01270 375295.


🗑 Missed Wheelie Bin Collections – Report online
You should wait until after 6pm to report a missed collection as the crew may still be working in the area.  You can report a missed bin up to 2 working days after the day it should have been collected

🛒 Abandoned Supermarket Shopping Trolleys
If you encounter an abandoned trolley that needs to be removed from a nearby street or public area, the easiest way to request its collection is using this online form.

Using smartphone apps
Alternatively you can report abandoned shopping trolleys for most retailers including Morrisons using the TrolleyWise smartphone app.  Download this from your app store for iphone or android.  You can also report online using the web site or call 0800 3161241.

For ASDA trolleys only, you will need to use the Collex App.  Download this from your app store for iphone or android.  You can also call 0808 1680 600 or email request@collextrolley.com


Crewe Town Council Rangers
The Rangers can deal with issues such as litter picking, graffiti removal, cutting trees hedges and shrubs as well as many other issues.  You can report a problem using their online form.


Guinness Housing
Call 0303 123 1890 Monday to Friday, 8am – 8pm (and 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency repairs and rent payments).
You can also contact online using the Guinness Partnership web site


Cheshire Police
☎️ If you wish to report a non-emergency crime, please call 101, or in an emergency dial 999.  Only dial 999 if:

  • there is danger to life
  • violence is used or threatened
  • a serious crime is progressed or likely to occur
  • a suspect for a serious crime is nearby
  • there has been a road crash injuring someone or causing danger to others
  • a person who is especially vulnerable needs assistance

You can report a crime anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or submitting information online at Crimestoppers

Report Parking issues
Operation Park Safe is a project from Cheshire Police which will allow members of the public to report parking issues online.
As part of the scheme, residents will be able to upload videos and photographs of offending vehicles where they will be assessed by an experienced traffic officer, who will triage and deal with any dangerous parking offences.

Report Anti Social Behaviour
You can report ASB by calling 101, or by using the online service
If a crime is taking place, someone is in danger or property is being damaged then call 999
